Cobham Children's Choice
We have teamed up with Cobham Bookshop to invite children from our local community to pick their favourite book within their age category.
This is a joint initiative between Parkside School and Cobham Book Shop, open to all local children.
Books have been chosen by the Librarian at Parkside School, with a view to encouraging a variety of age appropriate reading. All books are fiction and were published in 2024. Several have been short-listed for prestigious national and international awards.
Children are encouraged to participate by reading the books between January and April 2025. Voting details are as follows:
- Voting Deadline: Submit votes online (details to follow) by 30 April 2025.
- How to Vote:
- Award 3 points to your favourite book, 2 points to your second favourite, and 1 point to your third choice.
- Children can vote in multiple categories, but must have read all three books in each category to qualify.
- For Schools: Librarians or teachers should collect votes from pupils and submit them collectively via the designated webpage
Children of Cobham, it’s time to vote for your favourite book!
Choose from the following categories:
- Years 3 & 4
- Years 5 & 6
- Years 7, 8 & 9
Cast your vote and help crown the top book in each category! Don’t forget—you can only vote after reading all three books in a category. Stay tuned for details on how to submit your votes!
